I was absolutely amazed by the features of this board (SATA, 2 NVME, 4 RJ45, flexible PSU). Unfortunately I encountered several issues with the board and couldn't solve them till the very end.
1. The 4PIN Power supply doesn't deliver enough power for SATA drives, other than advertised. However, there are two SATA Power connectors that require special cables. I doubt that it is capable of powering 6 drives.
2. One can't set C-States in the BIOS, which results in a continuous power draw of 20W for my setup with just one 3.5" HDD. You can't lower the C-States of both, CPU and HDD. Compared to my old Dell Wyse 5070, this is 10x the power draw. and results in 30-50€/a in electricity costs. Add this to the cost of the board!
I could live with these 2 issues, but THE WORST THING is:
3. It's very unstable and crashes from every few minutes to hours. I tried 6 different RAMs of different sizes and brands, 5 different Power supplies ranging from 12V to 19V, tried every BIOS setting that could've an influence,... Nothing.
The second worst thing is, that it wasted weeks of my mental capacity and that I need to pay the post back to China to get at least the chance of a reimbursement through PayPal - all for a non functioning board.
The previously high hopes ended in deep frustration.
