The cost‑performance of this motherboard is outstanding. In this price range, it is rare to find a product that delivers this level of performance and features.
However, there are several issues that should be improved:
- Coil whine:
The coil whine is quite loud and appears to come from the CPU power circuitry. At idle, it is louder than the fan, and when the system is under load, the noise itself decreases significantly.
- PCIe noise and instability with riser cables:
This is the most serious issue for me. When using a GPU with a PCIe riser cable, the system becomes unusable—even with a short 10 cm riser. I tested every available BIOS option related to PCIe, but nothing improved the stability. If PCIe generation control were available, forcing Gen 3.0 might help, but the current BIOS does not allow this, and bandwidth would also be reduced. I purchased this board to build an ultra‑compact gaming PC, but with the current PCIe behavior, that goal cannot be achieved.
- Very limited BIOS options:
Some of the issues above might be solvable with more detailed BIOS settings. Expanding the BIOS options would greatly help power users.
Additionally, I hope the following points will be considered for future product development:
- CPU 8‑pin power connector placement:
The current location is difficult to use. Placing it closer to the outer edge of the board—or ideally near the 24‑pin connector—would make cable routing much easier in compact builds.
- Internal USB 3.0 female header:
An internal USB 3.0 header would be very useful for high‑speed Wi‑Fi adapters and other fast USB devices.
- Wi‑Fi card slot:
A dedicated slot for a Wi‑Fi card would add flexibility without sacrificing other expansion options.
Overall, the concept and cost‑performance are excellent, but improvements to PCIe stability, coil whine reduction, and BIOS functionality would make this product significantly better.
