ChangWang CWWK AMD-7940HS/8845HS 8-bay/9-bay NAS/USB4/40G rate 8K display 4 network 2.5G/9 SATA/PCIe x16 ITX motherboard

AMD issued a security advisory AMD-SB-4011 (CVE-2025-2884), stating that there is an information-leak vulnerability in fTPM. According to AMD’s announcement, a patched firmware for the Phoenix platform (PhoenixPI-FP8-FP7 1.2.0.0c) was released on 19 May 2025. However, They have not yet been able to release a new BIOS

I bought this board specifically because it has a powerful CPU (powerful enough for any homelab task I could throw at it), 4 ethernet ports and support for up to 9 SATA hard drives.
So far I couldn't be happier. Power consumption is reasonable, performance is what I expected, and I can run all the VMs and Docker containers I wanted.

The board is feature rich and feels solidly built. The performance so far in my testing is really good and the CPU temperatures are good so far. I've started testing mine with UnRaid and things seem to work well so far, but I won't know until I build a full deployment system. My unit has one internal USB header that is damaged but I think can be fixed with some bending of metal. The board has a bit of annoying coil whine which makes it hard to tolerate if it is to close when its running, not sure if my sample is bad or they all do but something to keep in mind. Both fan headers seem to work fine and each one has PWM control which I was worried might not be there but seems good so far. So far in UnRaid I can't see the fan speeds though which I wish worked.

I think The product is realy good for the money but I still is missing the CPU Fans that I ordered so I can not realy say

I ordered this board for use in a DIY NAS.
After a really quick delivery (only about two weeks) I built my NAS in a Jonsbo N3 chassis with TrueNAS Scale.
And what can I say, this board really does everything I wanted.
Just a bit more documentation would have been helpful.
Highly recommended, especially for NAS use.
