Fine little machine for an OPNSense router

Using this for an OPNSense instance and it works quite well. The build quality is solid and I've had no stability issues since setting up the machine. Packaging is professional and includes all the accessories needed to get going. The included fan on the inside can be a bit noisy and requires some BIOS tuning to lower the RPMs to an acceptable level.

Unstable NIC firmware

I set up a N100 box with quad i226 NICs as a router but it keeps crashing when hit with a gigabit download. I have reached out to the seller but have not received a response for updated bios or NIC firmware.

Great product with unbeatable price!

I bought Intel N305 mini PC firewall appliance. I'm very impressed. The package got delivered in 7 days to Poland, the packaging was very good and mini PC works flawlessly.
For this price (280$) I wasn't expected the experience to be that good. I installed 32GB of Crucial SODIMM DDR5 in one stick and installed Proxmox. For now it serves as a homelab with virtualized OPNSense firewall.
Only issue is it can get quite hot so it's best to run it actively cooled (there's a fan header on the board).
You can also adjust power limits of the CPU. Default settings were 35W in turbo and 20W otherwise.
