This NVME is a good solution to get a fast ssd into a device in which there is a lack of interfaces. So if there is a slot for a WiFi adaptor, and if it is regularly connected via PCIe, that is a good option. The speed is limited by the interface. In any case, however, it runs a bit faster than an SSD connected via SATA.
The bad news is that after installation, the power consumption in idle increased by an average of about 4 watts. This is a lot, and speaks for the fact that no energy-saving functions are used here. Regular NVMEs are in the idle about 0.01 watt.
So if you want to install this solution in a mobile device or a home server, you should contense yourself to notibly shorter battery life, or signifikant higher electricity costs.
Conclusion: if you absolutely need more memory and cannot switch to other interfaces, you can access it here. If power consumption plays a role, the increase in speed compared to a SATA SSD that may also be connected externally is marginal.
There was absolutely nothing to complain about the handling of sales and shipping from China by CWWK. But for me it was still a bad purchase.
