Almost Perfect

I think this is a well constructed device. It is going to solve alot of problems, from NAS to firewall/router. I gave it 3 stars, not for the hardware but for the support. I have emailed support 3 times and no response. The support site is in Chinese, so that does not help me being in the US. You need to spend time on getting your support services up to speed, if you want to be a player in the hardware arena.

Thanks,
Steve

Nice little and powerful NAS

I've been playing with this little monster for 4-5 days, and the feelings are really good.

Setup:
- 1 nvme 2TB disk.
- Proxmox 8.4
- 3 LXC containers for cross-compiling things.
- 3 GNU/Linux VMs.

Pros:
- Good transfer speeds.
- Really reaaally silent.
- It runs several VMs and containers without any problem. We'll see when compiling software in parallel if it melts or handles it like a champ.

Cons:
- The processor is not x86-64-v4 capable. Some distros have started dropping support for processors without this instruction set level.
- The disk has 680 TBW, which is less than others disks.
- No WIFI or BT module. It's clearly stated on the description, but just in case...
- I'm really worried about the problem with multiple disks in raid reported by others users. For now all good.

But in general, I'm happy that I can run several VMs for testing things, the silence of the device and that I can easily take it on a trip.
