Working well

Ordered in mid-February, up and running with Proxmox 8.4.1 at beginning of March with 32GB DDR5, 2x Lexar 4TB disks & one Kingston 1TB drive - using virtualized TrueNas Scale VM without issue. Working as intended.

Great little nas

I knew I was taking a risk by ordering from cwwk.net, especially after reading some bad reviews. But I was not disappointed! The order arrived within 2 weeks. I ordered one with n150, 16gb ram and 256 gb SSD installed. Installing truenas went smoothly. I added a 4 tb and two 1 tb ssds for storage. These work fine, no issues or errors like other reviews suggest here.

Under heavy load the device doesn't get hot. I haven't seen the CPU above 45 celsius. Getting the GPU to work with truenas required installing the drivers manually. But after some investigation, the onboard GPU works like a charm.

Overall I really like this little nas. Perfect for running a small homeserver. Of course the disk space is limited with 3 nvme slots (1 reserved for OS). So if you're looking to store over 10 tb, I would look for another device. But for basic usage, with little power usage, this device is perfect.

Great Device with Potential – Just Needs NVMe Issue Resolved

he build quality and performance are excellent, but there's a serious issue when using 4 NVMe drives — the system becomes unstable and risks data corruption. This seems to affect multiple users, so I really hope CWWK can prioritize a fix, possibly through a BIOS update. If resolved, this device would be perfect.

Doesn't boot and unresponsive customer service

I ordered the barebones option with no RAM or SSD. I have tried 3 different DDR5 4800MHz SODIMM's with no luck. I reached out to customer service and have not received a reply. The links for specifications, drivers, & bios do not work. There's no manuals available.

I knew this would be a risk going into it, but based on this experience, I can't recommend purchasing anything else from them.

It powers on...

However it does not work like a NAS. Likely there is a hardware issue or issue with BIOS, since when you start writing some data to disks, you get errors. Data is getting corrupted and only if you have raid (e. g. with btrfs it can self-heal, if you're lucky enough). And the data is getti g corrupted not only on a volume that you're writing, but on other disks too.
